Fine Fettle Fibres

45 Main St, Felton, Morpeth NE65 9PP, UK – 01670 600001

Excellent shop well worth searching out for unusual and local yarns. Lovely village too.

The Running Fox

2-4 Riverside, Felton, Morpeth NE65 9EA, UK – 01670 787090

Original afternoon tea. Visited this tea room recently as a treat for a family member. The portion size was on the large side, sandwiches were lovely (once the order was was delivered correctly), however they could have been cut into fingers rather than 2 uncut slices of bread on the bottom of the plastic presentation stand, along with huge slices of pie, (a table of 4 meant the display looked over crowded and squashed) Scones and cakes looked and tasted very nice, what we had room for after the savouries. There was tea and coffee aplenty with refills on request. Our party left with a goody box each, to eat or share with others back at home because there was too much to eat in one sitting. Good value for money, proc.best to book in advance

Had heard about this place from a few friends so when passing one day decided to pop in, what can i say beautiful food at a very reasonable price. We didn't book and it was really busy, we asked to book in for an hour later and we would come back they were happy to accommodate us. Must book to avoid disappointment. Great selection to choice from and even do gluten free. Definitely recommend

Vyner Park

The Avenue, Swarland, Morpeth NE65 9BQ, UK – 07775 060430

Great cafe - Nelson's at the Park (closed Tuesdays), and easy access to Swarland Woods for walks - with dogs if you've got 'em.

First time here to visit Nelson Cafe, didnt realise it was here. Fab play park for the kiddies tennis court n bowling green. X

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
