The Northumberland Arms

The Peth, Felton, Morpeth NE65 9EE, UK – 01670 787370

My idea of a cosy country hotel /pub. Gorgeous food served by very friendly and pleasant staff. Six cask ale pumps, all as far as I know from local breweries and all in excellent condition. We spent two nights here and really enjoyed them. Couldn't fault the "Northumberland plate" breakfast, would recommend to anyone. Would love to return soon.

My family and I visited for Sunday lunch. We were seated in the back in the private area, which was a very nice surprise. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were all very polite, friendly and welcoming. The food was very nice, the lamb and Yorkshire puddings were superb and the turnip fantastic. We can't wait to head back to try the regular menu. Thank you

The Running Fox

2-4 Riverside, Felton, Morpeth NE65 9EA, UK – 01670 787090

Had heard about this place from a few friends so when passing one day decided to pop in, what can i say beautiful food at a very reasonable price. We didn't book and it was really busy, we asked to book in for an hour later and we would come back they were happy to accommodate us. Must book to avoid disappointment. Great selection to choice from and even do gluten free. Definitely recommend

Small tea room that's so popular it's a good idea to book a table. Afternoon tea will typically cost £12-15 each. With that said almost everyone leaves with a take-home box. Most of the food is home cooked. Cakes and pies are everything you would hope for. The door-stop sandwiches are exactly as described and made fresh to order just the way you like.
